Our services are provided within the long term care facility where older adults reside. No need to arrange transportation!
Our services are fully covered by Medicare Part B and most supplemental insurance plans.
We provide a place for Seniors to work out their frustrations, express disappointments, receive validation, encouragement, and support as they are going through this unique stage of life.
Most people have difficulty with change. Older adults are not exempt! We will provide support for the older adult and their family as they make this sometimes difficult transition.
Placing your loved one in long-term care is a difficult decision. We provide psychoeducation and family therapy to help family work through issues that typically arise during this transition.
We will conduct an initial evaluation gathering information about the client, complete an assessment of functioning, create a treatment plan, and begin service!
Anxiety, depression, agitation, changes in personality, confusion, increased forgetfulness, feelings of despair, social impairment, grief and loss, meaninglessness, loneliness, just to name a few!
We accept Medicare Part B and most secondary insurances for no out of pocket costs. We also accept most private insurances. Medicare replacement policies may incur co-payment and/or yearly deductible fees.

In my 13 years in Senior Living, I have been around many psychological services, but unlike this one. In my opinion, this practice really has a serving heart.

What makes KB Psychology different? Dad never enjoyed - no, dad NEVER engaged in other activities, especially 1:1. This has helped him remember his skills - reminding him what he is good at & brought his self-esteem back!
